The Oregon Board Mandated specific Chiropractic Assistant (CA) CE for 2015-2016 license year (see details below) * General Notes: Continuing education should be completed between August 1 (last year) and July 31 (this year). Do NOT wait until you receive your Renewal Notice & CE Affidavit to start looking for qualified seminars.
* For the 2015-2016 license renewal period (July 1, 2015 to July 31, 2016), ALL CAs must complete two (2) hours CE in Vitals plus every CA must complete 20 documented checks of each of the following: blood pressure, body temperature, pulse, and respiration. *A minimum of 10 people must be tested (i.e. a variety of people broadens the skill). The didactic portion will include lecture and demonstration. These mandated hours are PART OF the CA’s annual six hours, not an addition to the six. The hours are to be completed and reported by July 31, 2016.
